HSAs or QHSAs (qualified hospital service agents) are employed in hospitals and retirement homes. A category C job body, they participate in the smooth functioning of the services. Missions of HSAs/QHSAs A technical mission The HSA is responsible for the cleanliness of the premises, cleaning rooms, bathrooms, treatment rooms, etc. He must respect the hygiene measures and the prevention of biocontaminations. A social mission The HSA, in his functions, is also called to sociabilize patients/residents. Thus, it participates in the distribution of meals and can help patients/residents to feed themselves.
